Power of Gratitude

I am writing this gratitude post for my mindfulness challenge. The challenge is to contact somebody who has done a positive impact in my life to a person and say ‘Thank you’. I could have said that in person or by a phone call. But I felt it may make them awkward by saying thanks out of the blue. Also I would like to log this gratitude somewhere where I can come back and see it often. And yes, I am not comfortable saying like that too. I know…. it’s a simple word to say ‘Thank you’ and how gratifying that feel would be. But it is difficult at the same to express it. If only we can express our 'thank you's and 'sorry's when ever we feel like, how beautiful the world can be ! Many misunderstandings between the loved ones would have dissipated already.
I like to convey my ’Thank You’ to 2 important persons in my life ‘Prabuanna’ and ‘Chithi’. They are my uncle and aunt. My fathers younger brother and his soulmate. There is a movie describing what would happen when a man catches one specific bus and how things would change when he misses that bus. I relate to it thinking how my life would be if these 2 people are not in my life. Especially during the critical times of my life trying to figure out what I am, who I am and what are the possibilities in my life. They are my gateway to this outer world where I was inside a small cocoon but filled with phantasies. I am grateful that I met them in my life and they are very important people for me.
