My first sea visit

This week I happened to visit Corfu and spend most of my days in beach. This is the kind of vacation we prefer to have now a days! Spending quiet family time in one place rather than rushing to cover different places. After a few failure attempts to visit Greece, we finally made it, hurray !!! Myself and my kid spent a great time in beach playing all silly little things which brought my childhood memories. It was totally different from my usual holidays. Resort we stayed had its private beach where only the hotel guests are allowed to use the beach. We use to come in the morning and play under the hot sun without any care for hours and hours and returned back to room only in the evening. There was nothing in my mind except finishing my sons sand castle (Lol).. That was the foremost mission for the day. It was such a beautiful experience and could not contain the beauty of the place with my two eyes alone. Eventually... I started recalling my very first experience to visit the sea. I must be around 8 years old , can't remember the exact age. We as a family went to a place called Tiruchendore Murugan temple which is located next to the sea. So after we finished our prayers, we headed towards the sea to take bathe. It was my first time to visit the sea. I never had even seen a photograph of a sea during that time. Probably I might have seen an illustration of sea in my school book. That was my knowledge about sea. Without realising how glorious and majestic sea is I was bragging about the tricks I would do in the sea. Once I reached the sea I was dumbstruck realising how vast and massive it is. I slowly sneaked behind the crowd and waited for others to finish their bathe and come out. My bad suddenly my dad and uncle remembered about my bragging and asked me to come into the sea which I refused of course!. I was terrified. But they did not leave me there. Both of them came and carried me on either side, walked inside the sea up to their height and dipped me nicely. I screamed and could not even come out as it was deeper for me. This was one of the rarest thing my dad and uncle were in total sync! I can never forget that event even now. It is lovely recalling and sharing those beautiful memories with the dear ones. I am sure this reminiscence of mine will recall some of your childhood memories. Please share yours if you feel so.
